The Hill is reporting that Speaker Boehner is preparing to demand further budget cuts as a requirement to raising the debt ceiling for the US government. This comes hot on the heels of the weekend concessions made to the budget arsonists as President Obama ceded them the argument that budget cutting is necessary for job creation, despite strong evidence to the contrary. It is going to be a long, hot summer.
